Everything I love about simplicity
As an artist, art director, illustrator, designer and publisher, you could say Leanne Shapton keeps herself busy. Her hand-painted and drawn lettering for book covers, however, is my personal favorite aspect of her varied work. Though it may appear rudimentary at first glance, each piece is actually quite conceptual and witty, providing only the exact amount of information necessary to get the point across.
