Kako is a Brazilian designer/illustrator/let's just call him an artist. Of course, "Brazilian" may be a word used to describe "artist" in the future, the way they are just killing it lately. You've probably seen his redesign of the Blade Runner poster, but he has tons of amazing work on his site, along with a shop where you can buy said amazing work. Go there now.

Yes...These are paintings
I'm normally not exactly a fan of realism or trompe l'oeil, but these just blew my mind. And I don't just mean this from a technical standpoint, Carl Hammoud takes a whole new approach to what is beautiful and what is worth painting. I mean, he painted a shoebox...A SHOEBOX! And it's more beautiful than pretty much anything I've ever seen...Jesus.
