100,000 Toothpicks and 35 Years

Scott Weaver's "Rolling Through the Bay" has been under construction for over 35 years, and includes over 100,000 toothpicks that are not only sculpturally incredible, they are kinetic as well! As he drops ping-pong balls through different holes in the sculpture, they move through different San Francisco landmarks and neighborhoods, finally exiting in the bottom. Watch the video at the bottom of this post to fully understand the complexity of this enormous toothpick tower. Via Colossal.

Hi we see you are very passionate about what you do!! That is awesome congratulations, we are also passionate about our idea and we are tying to get the word out, so we where wondering if you could Help us create a collection of Traditional Crafts from the entire world available for everyone, and help one non-profit in each country of the world while we are at it http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/231922, if not at least give us a shout out to your friends family and followers that would be awesome (honestly not tyring to spam just trying to get the word out, sorry if this feels like an intrusion and if it does we promise not to do it again)
