Stacks Holiday Collection

As a fan of all things Steven Harrington, I'm happy to see that he and Jonathan Zawada have been commissioned to create artwork for the Stacks Holiday Collection of skate decks. Via Kitsune Noir.

Haroshi

Sculptures made from reclaimed skateboard decks by Japanese wood sculptor Haroshi.

Andy Warhol x Alien Workshop

A new series available this Spring, Andy Warhol's greatest hits grace the decks of Alien Workshop.

Damien Hirst for Supreme

Round two of Damien Hirst's work for Supreme, skatedecks featuring his famous spot paintings.

Florian Nicolle

Florian Nicolle's illustration work combining delicate type and what appear to be hand-painted portraits is incredible, here are a few examples from a few of my favorite skate decks from his portfolio:

Coming Soon to a Hipster's Wall Near You

The one and only Damien Hirst recently created these three skatedecks for Supreme, with his trademark spin painting on one side and a series of iconographic symbols on the other. His only wish by doing so is that people who actually skate buy them and use them for their intended purpose. Good luck with that one, Damien.

Western Edition

S.F. skateboard company Western Edition has been creating some nicely designed decks lately, their most recent additions being an homage to the Miles Davis band and another series celebrating the abstract shapes of L.A. painters in the 50's and 60's.

You Go, Girl

Girl Skateboards has some interesting designs in their new lines, including a "Where the Wild Things Are" series, as well as some fun vintage looks for nostalgic fogeys like myself.
