An Underwhelming Olympics Thus Far

Here's a sneak peek at the graphic identity for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. Graphics for Olympic projects in general are usually mind-blowing, innovative work, but I have to admit I'm a bit underwhelmed with what I've seen so far for Vancouver.

Feel free to let me know if I'm alone in this opinion.

    and besides the conventional and oldstyle character of it all: it looks like the Munich 1972 Olympic graphics!!!

    Traced, over rendered, over detailed and just plain awful. A step back in design. Zero style. Done by someone that can't draw. Makes Canada look behind the times!
