London screen printers K2 Screen have done some amazing posters for some amazing artists, many of which you've seen previously in the design blogosphere. Apparently this is who you go to when you have a phenomenal design that needs to be executed flawlessly.

Please Stop Asking Them For Skis
Not That I'm Bitter...
For someone who didn't begin making art until 7 years ago (at age 33) and has no formal art education, Lisa Congdon has an amazing eye for color and composition. Apparently some people are just born with it....Bastards.

Design is in the Details
Andrew Townsend has done some great work in many different media, using many unique printing processes. I love the simplicity and attention to detail in every piece.

Regardless of Your Personal Politics....
We should all be proud to be a part of a country that has finally broken past the race barrier and united to send the message that we are prepared to leave the past behind and move toward something better.
I can almost feel our country collectively exhaling.

Creations of Brotherly Love
Seattle designer/musician duo Don and Ryan Clark, aka Invisible Creature, are killing it lately, with their work being featured by the likes of Print magazine, Die Gestalten Verlag and Juxtapoz. And for good reason, as you can see from the work below. Stimulate the economy in their shop today.

Living the Dream
Photographer David Graham travels the U.S., photographing everything he possibly can among the roadside ephemera he encounters. Sounds like a fun vacation to me.

A Peek Inside the Lab
Stockholm Design Lab, the designers behind IKEA's successful brand, have been approaching all aspects of branding and design for over ten years. Their portfolio includes projects ranging from architecture and interiors to television title sequences, and everything in between.

What Could Be Better?
Explosions. Night shots. Minimalism. You just can't beat it. I love the work of photographer Christian Weber.

Another Young Artist to Watch...
Vincent Casey is a graphic designer and printmaker working in Ireland, and since his graduation three years ago he's done some great work. I'm especially liking his screen prints of urban landscapes with a touch of color and a touch of humor (or in his case, humour).

Fun With Shapes
French designer Emmanuel Romeuf has some fun work on his site, I love his simple, geometric style.

Genuine Fakes
Alison Jackson uses incredible celebrity lookalikes to create and photograph hilarious situations, some of which I'm sure aren't too far from reality. Her grainy images are a poke at the paparazzi and our insatiably voyeuristic culture, staging scenes ranging from the Queen of England on the toilet to Paul McCartney assaulting his ex with her prosthetic leg.

The Only Kind of Math I Understand
Aluminum + 20-30 layers of paint and tinted glazes = Yvette Molina's paintings.

The Light of our Lives
It's not every day that you'll see a lighting designer featured here on The Best Part, but then there aren't many lighting designers like Hervé Descottes. Hervé is founder and principal of L’Obervatoire International, who have handled lighting projects for the likes of Frank Gehry and Jean Nouvel, and were even chosen to design lighting for the Mona Lisa in the Louvre.
