Mandy Smith

Inspired by the distorted canal houses of Amsterdam and her love for paper, Mandy Smith created this incredible model home that looks like something out of a Tim Burton movie.

Christelle Boulé

Christelle Boulé has developed this ingenious system of burying cremation remains, consisting of a paper handmade funeral urn with a cap filled with oak seeds, it feeds the newly growing tree with your loved one's remains. Either extremely morbid or incredibly poetic, depending on your perspective I guess.

Ana Serrano

L.A. artist Ana Serrano utilizes a variety of mediums including drawing, collage, sculpture, and motion. My favorite part of her portfolio, however is her incredible paper sculpture.

Rob Ryan

The intricate paper cuts of Rob Ryan are simply phenomenal...and I'm not talking about scars resulting from playing with paper.

Paper Jewels

Tokyo artist Mayuko Fujino's collages are intricate jewels of paper cutout goodness.

A long, long time ago in a galaxy far away...

Paper Wars was a collaborative exhibition of the world's most popular weaponry, re-created in paper form and transformed into works of art. I say "was" because I am apparently late to the party, being that the exhibition closed in June. You can, however, still catch The Best Part(s) of the show on their site and imagine how cool it would've been to see that enormous 35mm anti-aircraft gun made out of paper.
