Hey, we all have to start somewhere. I've finally come to the realization that Facebook can be more than just another advertisement for the blog and my shop, so I've created a new page in the hopes of creating a more interactive, community feel than previous iterations of my Facebook page on the Networked Blogs platform (which turned out to be terribly UN-interactive). Here I plan to share more personal information, stories, photos and the like, in hopes of establishing a more personal dialogue with readers, artists, fans and friends. You can Friend TBP on Facebook by clicking on the link to the right, and I hope to see you all there! Thanks for your continued support and readership, and let's get 2011 going!
Upper Playground Contest
The fine folks at Upper Playground are sponsoring an art contest, the winner of which receives a limited edition Jason Jagel hand printed intaglio/wood block print and will qualify for a larger grand prize at a later date. They'll also put your piece on their blog and include it in their weekly newsletter to give you some more eyeballs on what you do. To enter, submit a photo of any design/artwork/photograph/piece you’ve done to their Facebook fan photos section. The winner will be decided by who has the most ‘Likes’ on their photo, so it’s up to you to promote your design. They’ll be tallying the votes next Monday (June 28th) at 12 noon PST.
